A Different Philosophy on Security & Life Safety
Technology matters. But when something goes wrong, the relationship behind that technology matters even more. We built our company around personal accountability, knowledgeable technicians and long-term relationships with the people and facilities we protect.
Security Should Be Personal.
After more than 26 years working in the security and life-safety industry, we have learned that one of the most important parts of protecting a facility has very little to do with a particular manufacturer, product or piece of equipment.
It is having someone who actually knows your facility.
Someone who knows where the equipment is located. Someone who knows where the wiring was routed, how the system was terminated, why a particular solution was selected, what has been repaired in the past and what needs attention in the future.
When security becomes impersonal, that knowledge is easily lost. Every service call can become a new beginning with another technician learning the building from scratch.
We Built the Company Around That Idea.
In 2010, after years of experience working within a national security organization, we established a different operating model.
Instead of building a company where customers simply move through a centralized service department, we began building portfolios of long-term client relationships.
Each client has a responsible technician who is expected to understand the systems, services and operational needs of that customer.
Our technicians are not rewarded simply for completing as many service tickets as possible. Their success is tied to their ability to successfully maintain a portfolio of clients and keep those relationships working.
The Responsible Technician Model
When Your Technician Succeeds by Taking Care of You, Everyone's Interests Align.
Giving technicians ownership of their client relationships creates accountability that is difficult to reproduce through a conventional dispatch model.
The technician has a reason to learn your facility, maintain accurate knowledge of your systems, recognize recurring problems and make sure the solutions under their responsibility continue operating properly.
- Greater familiarity with your facility
- Faster and more informed troubleshooting
- Continuity from one service visit to the next
- Better communication about system deficiencies
- Long-term system knowledge
- Direct technician accountability
- More thoughtful recommendations
- A genuine relationship with your service provider
The Technology Will Change. The Relationship Shouldn't.
Cameras change. Access control platforms change. Fire alarm systems change. Communications technology changes. Manufacturers come and go.
But the need for a knowledgeable person who understands your facility never changes.
That is particularly important in security and life safety because eventually every system will need service. Devices fail. Buildings change. Doors are replaced. Networks are modified. Codes evolve. Employees change and facilities expand.
When that happens, we want our clients to know who to call — and we want the person answering that call to already understand what they are responsible for.
Local Relationships. Statewide Capability.

Passing the Trade to the Next Generation.
Security and life safety is not simply the business we operate. It is a trade built on technical knowledge, craftsmanship, responsibility and trust.
Today, the next generation of our family is beginning to learn that trade — working alongside experienced professionals and learning the same principles that have shaped our company for decades.
That means learning more than how to install equipment. It means learning why the work matters, how to do it correctly, how to take responsibility for a client's systems and how to build relationships that can last for years.
We are proud to be building a multi-generational company while preserving the personal service and technical accountability on which the business was founded.
Our Commitment
We do not believe our responsibility ends when an installation is finished.
We want to understand your facility, maintain your systems, tell you when something matters, tell you when something doesn't, and provide straightforward recommendations based on what is actually in your best interest.
Whether we are responsible for one system or an entire portfolio of facilities, our objective remains the same:
